"Yours Is the Kingdom"

Matthew 28:18
Thomas moved from doubt to surrender when he saw the risen Jesus and declared, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus is not just Savior — He is King. When we pray, “Yours is the kingdom,” we are surrendering the throne of our hearts to Him. His kingdom is not built on force or politics, but on love, truth, and obedience. Every day we face choices about who will rule our lives — our feelings, our pride, our culture, or Christ. A faithful follower of Jesus chooses to let God’s Word direct attitudes, actions, and decisions.
What area of your life do you struggle most to surrender to Christ’s authority?
Tuesday

“Your Kingdom Come in My Heart”

Colossians 3:15
God’s kingdom begins in the heart. Jesus reigns wherever people willingly submit to Him. Sometimes the greatest spiritual battles happen in ordinary moments — in traffic, at work, at home, or during conflict. The sermon reminded us that when someone wrongs us, our natural response is revenge or irritation. But when Jesus rules our hearts, we respond differently. His kingdom changes our reactions, our speech, and our attitudes. Living under Christ’s rule means choosing forgiveness over retaliation, kindness over anger, and obedience over emotion.
How can you show Christ’s rule in the way you respond to others today?
Wednesday

“Yours Is the Power”

Romans 8:11
The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is available to every believer. Jesus has power to forgive sin, transform lives, strengthen the weak, and give eternal life. The disciples were fearful and hopeless after the crucifixion, but after the resurrection they became bold and joyful. Why? Because resurrection power changes people. Sometimes we try to live the Christian life in our own strength and become discouraged. But victory over sin, patience in trials, and spiritual growth come through dependence on God’s power — not ours.
Where do you most need God’s strength in your life right now?
Thursday

“Yours Is the Glory”

Psalm 115:1
Our world constantly encourages self-promotion and recognition. Yet the purpose of our lives is to reflect God’s glory, not our own. Pride seeks the spotlight, but humility points people to Jesus. Everything good in us comes from God — our abilities, blessings, opportunities, and salvation. When we pray, “Yours is the glory,” we are acknowledging that He deserves all honor and praise. A Christ-centered life is not about making ourselves famous; it is about making Jesus known.
In what ways can you intentionally give God glory in your daily life?
Friday

“Forever and Ever”

Philippians 2:10–11
The kingdom, power, and glory of Jesus are eternal. Earthly kingdoms rise and fall, but Christ reigns forever. Because Jesus conquered death, believers have the hope of eternal life. One day every believer will stand in the presence of the risen Savior. The greatest moment is still ahead when Jesus welcomes His people home forever. Thomas experienced overwhelming joy when he saw the risen Christ. One day, all who believe will experience that same joy face to face.
How does the promise of eternal life change the way you view today’s struggles?
