Bad Weather Policy

When weather conditions are hazardous during the weekend, a decision will be made by 7:00 on Sunday morning about implementing the Bad Weather Policy. Our policy is based on the levels as determined by the Holmes County Sheriff's Office.

All weather policy notifications will be posted on our Facebook pages, or listen to WKLM 95.3 FM for the Sheriff's level announcement.

Our Policy

  • Level 1: All worship services and Sunday School classes are on a normal schedule and we look forward to seeing you at church.
  • Level 2: Sunday School classes are cancelled, but we will have worship at 10:30 AM. Please use your discretion when traveling and be careful when crossing the parking lots.
  • Level 3: Church doors will be closed and all services are cancelled. Stay home and stay safe! Depending on the severity of the weather, services may still be streamed online.

Whenever church is open, our sidewalks will be treated for those who can make it. The sermon will be available later in the week on our website, YouTube channel, and Facebook Page for those who don't feel comfortable traveling in inclement weather. Our main concern is your safety during the winter months with unpredictable weather.
