Covet - Yearn to possess or have (something)
Covet - To forage for fulfillment apart from God, severing the relationship between provider and provision. Every sin is a manipulation of what began as good. The struggle is when our affection is upon the thing itself, and not the one who gave it.
Coveting distorts and distracts our relationship and need for God. Coveting fractures our relationship with others. Be content. Show gratitude. Make a conscious effort to shift your affection away from the thing and to the one who gave you the thing.
